A Perth-built marketplace for renting and listing equipment — made by people who actually live here.
Built by two Perth locals who got frustrated.
CIOS was started by James Powell and Dion Tyler-Whiteman — two people who kept running into the same problem. Equipment sitting unused in garages and workshops, while people nearby needed it and couldn't justify buying it outright.
We couldn't find a simple, local way to connect the two. So we built one.
Making idle equipment earn its keep.
Perth has a lot of tools, machinery, and gear that sits unused most of the time. We want to change that — by making it easy for owners to earn from what they already have, and easy for renters to access what they need without the cost of buying.
Our goal is to be Perth's go-to equipment rental marketplace. Local, practical, and built around trust between real people.
Early days. Exciting ones.
We launched in 2025 and we're just getting started. The platform is live, listings are growing, and we're learning fast from the people using it.
